we’re here for you

“That Someone Project” is a community engagement and development service for children, young people and the Home education community throughout Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion

We are a not-for-profit organisation offering a welcoming and empathetic atmosphere that provides support, guidance and connection to members of the home education community and young people throughout West Wales

About us

Who We Are & What we do

That Someone Project was established by a small collective of home educators who recognised that while we as individuals are resilient on our own, our strength is magnified when we are unified.
Our team is now a thriving co-operative of like-minded parents, practitioners and professionals who all share the same objective – to create a thriving home education community with a focus on positive emotional wellbeing.

We have a community hub in Haverfordwest, where we hold various workshops, community projects, alternative education sessions, social activities and access to a dedicated and specialised children and young persons’ counselling service.

Home Education

drop-in centre

Our hub is a community base open to everyone. It is a space to catch up with friends, find out what events are taking place locally, join in with one of our many workshops, book onto any of our organised day trips, or simply as a place to pop in for a cuppa and a chat – our kettle is always on.
We run daily workshops, craft sessions, meet-ups, game tournaments, clubs, work experiences, educational trips, skill shares, and are always looking for inspiration for more!
We have an array of staff and volunteers on hand to offer advice and support, and we also run a Signposting Service, meaning we can connect you with other relevant support services you may need.

Counselling Services

We are also extremely proud to announce that we have our very own team of highly trained specialist children’s mental health practitioners and Counselling Service here at That Someone Project.
Our counselling team have amassed over 20 years of training and practice in
Schools, youth organisations, charities
